For Design Miami/ Basel 2019, Joseph Walsh Studio presents Magnus V is the largest and most ambitious form in the Magnus series to date, designed for the atrium of IPUT’s Dublin headquarters. Of such a scale that it shapes and redefines the architecture of the space, Magnus V engages the viewer in a physical and emotional way, intended to provoke an experience of calm, reassurance and discovery.

Working with the inherent properties of the olive ash, Joseph Walsh and his team have pushed the formal and technical possibilities of the wood, drawing on craft, research and engineering to realise a unique intuitive expression of man and material.
